A Practical Guide to International Design and Research: Stories from the Trenches and Tips to Fit Any Budget

Why do users in Germany behave differently from users in Silicon Valley? Is there something happening in Brazil that would explain why a feature that is popular in the U.S. isn’t gaining any traction? UX professionals in companies with international products are often faced with the daunting task of designing for and researching users who may be on the other side of the world, and it can be difficult to know where to begin.  This session is designed to offer practical guidance and strategies for UX research and design from a panel of UX professionals who have been there.  We will provide stories that illustrate the dos and don’ts of international research and give you some tips on how to achieve your goals even if traveling the world with a large entourage is out of your budget.
