Mr Nutter has been involved in collecting the needs of end-users and then developing and commercializing products to meet those needs. With an SB Physics from MIT, he moved to General Electric’s renown Plastics Marketing division in 1977. Over a 25 year career there led GE Plastics development of end user programs resulting in the first all-plastic Bumper, Fender, on board Electronic components and polycarbonate side and rear windows. From 2000 to current, Mr. Nutter worked with various Medical device companies from an Optics perspective – all-laser LASIK, Dental imaging, Genetic sequencing and from 2012 to 2017, the world’s only total artificial Heart, as Chief Operating and Chief Development Officer of SynCardia Systems.
