James Williams James is an accomplished UX professional with 20 years experience. With degrees in philosophy and mathematics he enjoys combining analytic and data driven insight, with an understanding of human psychology and behavior, and a love for highly functional and usable design to shape behavior, build new habits, inspire excitement and achieve results. Much of his work at Medullan has been focused on helping patients and customers achieve greater health and wellness through better insights and actions.
Passionate about education, Jim has been inspiring and training the next generation of creative technologists by teaching courses, seminars and mater classes at many institutions including Tufts University, Boston University, School of Visual Arts-New York, and the VCU-Brand Center.
When he is not shaping the next generation of innovative apps or innovating creators he is in his backyard organic garden growing ridiculously hot peppers and other exotic edibles—mostly because he likes to eat and doesn’t want to go all way to the store.
