Mary M. Michaels Mary M. Michaels is currently Global Director of Training & Certification and Strategic Advisor for Human Factors International. She has more than 15 years of experience in the field of user-centered design and UX strategy, consulting with a wide range of clients, and moderating hundreds of usability tests along the way. She has taught over 100 classes globally, manages HFI’s training courses worldwide, and oversees the Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) and Certified User Experience Analyst (CXA) exams. Mary served for five years as treasurer of the NYC Chapter of the UXPA, and presented previously at UXPA 2012. She holds a BFA in art teacher education and an MBA.
