Introducing a NEW UX maturity Metric: The Team Engagement Score (TES) During Usability Testing

Product team engagement during usability testing is a critical aspect of creating a great UX, as well as helping an organization move up the UX maturity ladder. The presenters will introduce a new metric called the Team Engagement Score (TES) , which strives to benchmark team and stakeholder buy-in and participation during the usability testing process. TES emphasizes the significant role that observation plays in communicating the significance of usability issues to team members during testing sessions. TES comprises three important elements: teams’ commitment, prioritization, and involvement in the observation of usability sessions. The presenter’s will demonstrate how to calculate TES for a variety of common scenarios and different ways it can be used within an organization. TES also moves the UX community towards a more measurable definition of UX maturity.
