Brenda Burkhart Brenda is a Certified Professional Ergonomist who champions all aspects of the user experience research and design process. She performs user centered research and leads user experience design at IBM for many types of web and mobile products including human resources applications, intranet applications and sales planning/support applications. Prior to IBM, Brenda worked as a lead designer in the healthcare, health insurance, security access control, telecommunications, and defense industries. She has worked on many projects to ensure design consistency including corporate standards, style guides, design systems and mobile design patterns. Brenda has a Master of Arts degree in Human Factors/Applied Experimental Psychology from California State University, Northridge.
