Josef Scherpa Josef is an IBM Master Inventor and Team Lead in the IBM CIO Design Team. With over 14 years of experience at IBM, he has lead the design of internal and external products, to meet the needs of over 100 million global users. While currently focused on internal websites and mobile applications for over 500,000 internal IBMers, he previously led the design
of IBM Sametime Instant Messaging, the ecommerce experience of IBM’s cloud platform Bluemix.net, and worked on numerous product design and user research projects in the Lotus Division of IBM. Josef has a MS in Human Factors Engineering from Tufts University and holds 20 software patents. He enjoys hosting Design Thinking Workshops and mentoring others in the patent process.
